JOY shaker shaped card

I seem to be creating a lot of shaped cards these past few weeks.  They do stand out a little more than a regular A2 card.  They don't really take that much longer.  I simply print/cut and then put together.

Ok...this one took a tad longer because I added a little girl called Warm Winter Cocoa and then added acetate and sprinkles to make it a shaker card.  I made 3 of these.  I also added a burgundy offset to make it "pop" a little more.  The kit is called Joy & Noel Aperture Care Kit.  WOW...it comes with so many options for both words.

JJ Christmas Box Surprise

For some reason this image and sentiment (JJxmasbox)made me laugh.  I could use a good laugh right now during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

When you open the card, the sentiment can kinda catch you by surprise.  This is "so not me".  I'm not ready for the dog house, but I also know I'm not in college anymore darning the tight hip hugger pants and hair to my waist....haha   I still have my hips...still have hair....and I can see my waist. I guess that still has to count for something. LOL

If I made you laugh, then I've done my job with this card!

A2, colored with copics, my own window design (svg)

Memory Box holly wine, red berry jewels, brick embossing folder with reverse inking

Inside of card... also Wink of Stella
PS...I've never woken in a box...haha

Yup...4 cards ready for next year

Another personalized notecard

Found this lovely design "free" at Freepik if you give credit and a link.  I did some sewing machine stitching on some of the cards....I just use the Lil Inker Stitched Rectangles set for this particular one.
I also used different background colors on each of the cards.  That's it folks.

A2, no machine stitching on this one...just Lil Inker Stitched Rectangle die set

Take My Advice DOLL....

....pick an age and stick to it !

This is Bugaboo's JJ wine 2.  I was inspired by Billie and sorta cased her. The sentiment derived from Art Impressions.  One more card I'm adding to the Christmas Card sets! Nothing special about the template so I added dimension and an svg wine glass (free from internet) with an acetate base.

I hope you didn't notice my personal cork holder was full

pop-ups behind girls and wine glass
PS  Inside says "Happy Birthday"

Yup, I made 4
Going to make these again but change the sentiment

Drawstring Gift Bags for the card sets

After making all the cards for the in-law ladies, I decided I needed some way to present them nicely.  It was a rainy, cold, icky day and I didn't want to drive to the fabric store, plus I wanted to save money...SO...I found some scrap pillowcase material I had bought this past summer.

I used Staz-On and stamped with my oldie Christmas House Mouse stamp and sentiment.  I used thin red ribbon to make the "draw-string" for the bags.  Dang, I guess I need tags now....this is becoming a never ending project.

approximately 6x9 after all the sewing

used my Misti for the stamping

Happy Holidays

Another lovely card kit from Paper Creator called Bear Christmas Quick Card.  The only thing I did different is to put it on my circle step card I created in Design Studio.  It was all Print/Cut and put together.  I used some of my own paper from an old pack but the kit comes with digital papers.

There is still time to join Challenge #55 at Paper Creator's Craft - theme: Christmas.  Use CELY in code area for 20% discount on a purchase.
5x5, but due to fold, it fits in an A2 envelop

used Glossy Accents on all the berries

Personalized Notecards

The last of the cards for the sets I'm making for the in-law ladies for Christmas. (Three "for"s in one sentence.  My professor would be very upset.)  I found this lovely handmade watercolor flower image at the Hungry JPEG for $1.  I added each of their names to make 2 per person. Quick, CAS and I think they are pretty for personalized cards.  Just hope they think the same thing.

Little B Bouquet card

Another card I am adding as part of a combo set for some in-laws for Christmas.  This is another case I found on Pinterest.  " If it ain't broke, don't fix."   I'm trying to make cards that look pretty or fun, easy to put together but look like they took a long time to make...haha

Lola, at Little Card Maker, got me interested in this die set.  My crafting friends cost me money....you know who you are....haha  I used Little B Bouquet set. The only thing I added was a Sue Wilson Faux Quilled Leaf die.

A2, used distressed inks to make the blue background and the red/orange color behind flowers.

pop-ups behind some flowers for added dimension

Rocking Charm Christmas Tree

This was a lot of fun to print/cut and put together.  The little dangling Christmas tree has lots of layers and hangs from some fishing wire.  If I did it again, I would change it to a spinner.  Wouldn't that be cool!

A fun shaped rocker card from Paper Creator called Christmas Tree Scalloped Edge Kit.  The December Challenge #55 at Paper Creator's Crafts continues.  Remember to use CELY for 20% off any purchase.

Mitzi Duck and Charlie Chaplin

I fell in love with Faith's card from a while back.... so I cased her in every way.  This is Mitzi Duck called " Still Got It."  Mitzi Stamp images are now retired but cross-stitching is still available in select stores.  I also used Lipstick from Dearie Dolls.

I'm making a selection of various cards (set of 5) as Christmas gifts for 3 "in-law" ladies.  I also went back and made more Charlie Chaplin cards that I cased Sue, also to be included with this set.

Maybe a mistake taking pics outside.  Colors are really off.

Different zipper file

I made this zipper file to reveal a sentiment.  When you peel back the zipper part is says...
"for all you do for me." Cely ("Absolutely" isn't crooked.  I just had trouble getting it to stand since it is a flat (non-opening) card..haha

I have seen some examples of sliding a gift card through the slot, but I thought just the sentiment was enough for this card.  If you would like the Studio file, please write but don't leave request in the comment area since it doesn't leave me with your email.
A2, a little hard to see the zipper in this photo but you can see where I wrote "PULL"
see close up below for a better look
oops...forgot to erase pencil marks before taking pic

If you click on photo, you can see the zipper cuts better
I used Little B flower set dies and Simon Says "thanks" set
PS..Forgot to mention that I made the "absolutely" cut file in Silhouette also.  Let me know if you want that too...happy to share.

Not a Creature Was Stirring....

It's the beginning of our December Challenge at Paper Creator's Craft #55 - theme - Christmas. This little sleeping creature came from Boozy Christmas Ultimate Kit.  I use A2 Pop Out Book by Lori Whitlock (purchased from Silhouette Store.) I layered him several times for added dimension.

You are welcome to enter CELY in code area for 20% off on your purchase to the store.  A nice little offering by Debbie for us to offer followers.

A2 but can be sized up easily to a 5x7
Everything was cut out using Cameo

I made a slight mistake...I should had said "not even this poor drunk bear.  Oh well, it's easy enough to change the sentiment Could almost pass as a little fat mouse..haha
